Civil litigation is a legal dispute between two or more parties that seek money damages. Simply put, somebody is getting sued. Being involved in a lawsuit can be, to some, a frightening, confusing, and to say the least, frustrating time in one’s life.
So if you should be served a summons, by all means, don't sit on it! Respond. The clock is ticking on this one.
